We don’t have many trees on the Isle of Lewis, so for a tree-fix we have to head for Stornoway and the lushly forested grounds of Lews Castle. Here, perhaps more discernibly than anywhere else on the island the colours of the seasons in all their recurring glory can be enjoyed.
An Geamhradh (The Winter) is a bold, contemporary lopi design, which uses simple yet striking colours against a background of softest ash grey to evoke the beauty of an evergreen woodland carpeted in snow.
